From 1 to 4 November, Özgen joins Salzburg Global's first Education Retreat at Schloss Leopoldskron. Around thirty organisations come together under the theme of Education for Human Flourishing to work on something the sector talks about more than it practises: collaboration between institutions and systems, and what it would take to make it hold.

The retreat grows out of the Education for Human Flourishing Coalition, with Cambridge Partnership for Education, HundrED, the International Baccalaureate, the Learning Planet Institute, OECD and Teach For All, and out of Education House, where A.J. was in September. The ideas developed in Salzburg are meant to carry through to the UN General Assembly in September 2027.
