On 4 November the Ban Ki-moon Foundation, with Salzburg Global and the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosts the International Forum on Global Citizenship Education, Partnerships and Peace at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg. Özgen will be there.
The forum asks a question close to our own work: how can education respond to fragmentation, polarisation and declining trust, rather than simply describe them? The day moves from an intergenerational fishbowl on the future of education to sessions on promising practices and partnerships across sectors, regions and generations, with the outcomes feeding into UNESCO's consultations on education beyond 2030.
Registration is open and free, and there is a livestream for anyone who cannot be in Salzburg. The programme runs from 10:30 to 18:00.
