At Educ@demy, our understanding of learning is grounded in relationships.
We see learning as a dynamic and ongoing process, shaped by interactions between people, materials, environments, and time. It is not linear, nor is it something that can be delivered or transferred. Learning emerges through experience, reflection, and dialogue.

Because of this, we take a non-linear approach to designing professional learning.
Rather than offering fixed content or rigid frameworks, we create spaces where participants can explore, collaborate, and construct meaning together. Our programs unfold through encounters, reflective walks, hands-on workshops, shared dialogue, and open-ended experimentation. Each moment is designed to open new lines of inquiry.

We believe that meaningful learning often happens in the in-between spaces:
in informal conversations, in shared silences, and in moments of uncertainty. That’s why we focus not only on what we do, but how we do it, paying attention to rhythm, environment, atmosphere, and connection.

We also love challenging the traditional roles within learning spaces.
In our programs, people, places, materials, and ideas are all active contributors to the learning process. We create temporary learning communities where everyone’s experience and perspective matters.

We don’t believe professional development should be about information delivery.
It should support the whole person, not just the professional, but the human being behind the role. It should challenge assumptions, nurture creativity, and help educators reconnect with their purpose.

This is why our work is intentionally open-ended.
We don’t aim for closure, but for continuity.
Our programs often end not with summaries, but with traces, questions to carry forward, insights still forming, and connections that will grow over time.

What We Do

At Educ@demy, we design and facilitate transformational learning experiences for educators who seek more thoughtful, creative, and reflective spaces for growth.
While our work reaches across Europe and the US (mainly Princeton and New York), we have a special focus on Reggio Emilia, Sardinia and throughout Italy — a place we proudly call home. 🇮🇹

Here’s how we support both individual educators and institutions:

  • Immersive professional development courses — week-long programs rooted in reflective practice, art, pedagogy, and creative learning

  • International study trips and learning journeys — connecting educators with inspiring places, people, and practices

  • Creative city walks — using the environment as a tool for observation, inspiration, and inquiry

  • Collaborative workshops and trainings — focused on dialogue, co-construction, and professional identity

  • Tailored Erasmus+ courses — designed for teachers, schools, and educational institutions across Europe

  • Support for Erasmus+ projects — from planning and applications to designing meaningful, high-impact mobility experiences

  • Community learning events and resources — to spark reflection, build connections, and support ongoing innovation

Each experience is grounded in our belief that learning begins with a question — and grows through curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Who We Are

At Educ@demy, we bring together educators, school leaders, designers, artists, architects and innovators who believe that learning can -and should- be creative, meaningful, and regenerative.

Educ@demy is an independent initiative rooted in the belief that professional development should nourish both the educator and the human behind the role. While small by design, our work grows through dialogue, collaboration, and co-creation with people and communities around the world.

We’re inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and other educational philosophies that place relationships, aesthetics, and humanity at the center of learning. Our programs are shaped by real contexts, real questions, and a shared commitment to reimagining education in service of children, communities, and the planet.

If you’re looking for a space to grow, reflect, and connect—you’re in the right place.

And yes—we’re based in Sardinia.
Yes, that Sardinia from the Netflix Blue Zones series.
And yes, the rhythm of life here inspires how we think about time, connection, and what really matters.
If you'd like to learn (or dream) under the olive trees, we’ll keep a seat for you.

Hey there,

I'm Ozgen, an educator, learning designer, and community connector with a background in language education, creative pedagogy, and teacher development across diverse international contexts in Europe and beyond.
I’m passionate about designing experiences that bring people together to think, reflect, and imagine new possibilities for education.

Nothing you see here is the result of one person’s work. Every course, project, and idea has been designed in collaboration with incredible educators from all over the world and I’m endlessly grateful for that.

If you have an idea, would like to collaborate, or simply want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you.
