Reading Images, Reading the World is a workshop on media literacy, visual culture and critical thinking, using a CLIL approach (teaching subject content through a second or additional language). Participants work with photographs, film, advertisements, news images, social media and AI-generated content, and consider how to help students move beyond simply consuming media towards reading, questioning, evaluating and creating it.
